good story and pretty atmosphere

i’ve now watched all three ripley movies. while this one was alright i feel the story didn’t come through too easily and that i only could make sense of the beginning bc i had watched the 1999 version first. some of its flaws can be explained by the style of movies back then.

i watched the film till the end. the story was easy to follow and there aren’t any unlooped loops. the cinematography is nice, the aesthetic as well. but the dialogues are stiff but it is how they used to talk in films so it makes sense. and the music is nice : half smash
