Despite the impressive fact that the entire film is set in one room, Hitchcock manages to let the audience to develop multiple narratives about the neighbors through Jimmy Stewart's lenses. His use of confining us in one apartment to control the viewers is storytelling brilliance

A very nice idea at the time, a creative lead actor, an excellent cast, and a simple, slightly strange but beautiful story that is worth watching.👍🏻🥹💔

Really interesting watch in comparison with contemporary films, the slower pace allowed for me to enjoy the experience of watching a film. First Hitchcock film I’ve watched and the second with James Stewart, very efficient with shots and what they show and another great performance. I think Grace Kelly was perhaps the most beautiful woman I have ever seen, I never thought red lips and blue eyeshadow looked good but I was incorrect. It seemed almost all the characters had bright blue eyes.
