Despite the impressive fact that the entire film is set in one room, Hitchcock manages to let the audience to develop multiple narratives about the neighbors through Jimmy Stewart's lenses. His use of confining us in one apartment to control the viewers is storytelling brilliance

I was just staring at Grace Kelly half the time

Incredible slow-burning murder(?) mystery filled with meditative stretches of dialogue-less voyeurism. Grace Kelly is everything here; the choice of dresses alone blew me away. I adore the way each window tells a different yet equally meaningful mini story as our central mystery.
