Breakfast at Tiffany's

Audrey Hepburn is the original manic pixie dream girl. Even though this is the most famous Hepburn movie, I’ve seen two lesser known ones before it (The Children’s Hour and My Fair Lady). The cat is my favorite character. Also all of the hats are quite the fashion statement.

The fact that it’s cute and is a classic are the only reasons this movie wasn’t just meh.

I liked the book better…

It was almost a meh for me. I don’t know if being racist, vulgar, and cruel to animals was just the norm back then, but it was irritating to watch.
That aside, it does have some great lines and an unpredictable plot. Up until the last minute, I had no idea what Holly was up to.
