Audrey Hepburn is the original manic pixie dream girl. Even though this is the most famous Hepburn movie, I’ve seen two lesser known ones before it (The Children’s Hour and My Fair Lady). The cat is my favorite character. Also all of the hats are quite the fashion statement.

The fact that it’s cute and is a classic are the only reasons this movie wasn’t just meh.

Gotta love the Drama and a man obsessed with a woman

As a movie, this isn’t terrible. But why change the book’s ending for literally no reason? Audrey Hepburn is amazing, but this isn’t a good adaptation, unfortunately. Truman Capote deserves better.

Mickey Rooney in yellowface doesn’t help the movie’s quality, either.
