this movie was actually so good and cute!! who finna be the paul to my sasha😓

Even the good chemistry between the main characters and Sara's performance didn't have the ability to save this.
The script kept jumping from one aspect/point to another repeatedly without giving us a chance to even touch their surface. Hollow/weak/rushed.

Heartwarming and loveable characters

I cannot recommend this enough, it’s sweet, it’s a good time, it’s incredibly well made, it’s just all round a good unique film, much better than all that twilight shit, THIS IS THE REAL VAMPIRE ROMANCE STORY WE NEEDED.)

Humanist Vampire Seeking Consenting Suicidal Person, as much as a mouthful as the title is, the only mouthful your getting here is good content, like this shit is so well made, it actually hurts, it kinda felt to me like a vampire live action version of Your Name, with the tonality and how the actors felt to watch.

1st Act 9.1/10 (Rico ain’t deserve that😢)

2nd Act 9.4/10 (Butterflies, and questions of mortality, is there even a better combo?)

3rd Act 9.6/10 (If a movie gets me yelling at my screen, then it’s done its job.)

Plot 9.5/10 (Tbh if I got given this plot I’d turn it away, glad they didn’t.)

Soundtrack/Score 9.2/10 (Pilou cooked can’t lie.)

Acting 9.5/10 (BRING BACK RELENTLESSLY CUTE EYE ACTING, THE EYES CHICO, THEY NEVER LIE.)

Pacing 9.7/10 (Feels like 30 minutes, which when you’ve got a story this good, and this well made, kinda leaves you like, WHERE IS MY EXTENDED CUT, I NEED IT NOWWWW.)

Cinematography 9/10 (No landscape shots, and it still gets this, that’s how well made the up close ones are.)

Character Development 10/10 (LOVE YOU PAUL, AND LOVE YOU SASHAAAA.)

Writing 8.8/10 (Credit where credit is due, this is the best vampire story ever written, not Nosferatu, not any of that Dracula bull shit, especially not Edward Cullen, This is the gold standard, fight me.)

Ending 9/10 (Glad it made me smile rather than cry, it’s a lot nicer to be smiling than crying.)

Direction 9/10 (ARINE LOUIS-SEIZE PLEASE DO MORE I BEG.)
