Lisa Frankenstein if Lisa Frankenstein was written by a theatre kid.

Half way in and I thought this was a pretty good rom-com. I was confused a lot but I could feel the plot plotting. Then things get very much interesting. Melissa's performance throughout the entire thing had me by the 'throat'. Her performance alone took this from a meh to me liking it. I do think it went on too long and some things were unnecessary or dragging but the payoff from the very start to the very end is worth it. I felt like the guy in the audience at the end. The realism makes it so much deeper and better.

a monster with that kind of personality? smash.

Really enjoyed this step into the psyche and lives of a depressed young woman and where her fantasies take her. Questioned what was real and what wasn’t and in the end just went along for the ride believing it all. Loved it.

Fun movie. If you like Lisa Frankenstein or warm bodies you’ll like this
