Lisa Frankenstein if Lisa Frankenstein was written by a theatre kid.

Half way in and I thought this was a pretty good rom-com. I was confused a lot but I could feel the plot plotting. Then things get very much interesting. Melissa's performance throughout the entire thing had me by the 'throat'. Her performance alone took this from a meh to me liking it. I do think it went on too long and some things were unnecessary or dragging but the payoff from the very start to the very end is worth it. I felt like the guy in the audience at the end. The realism makes it so much deeper and better.

The beginning was very typical and I did not really like it.
Then we get to the middle/end when we find out this story is not a boy meets girl romance but a girl meeting and loving ALL of herself kind of romance that utilizes symbolism of the monster.
overall 8/10
