Bore Machine. The number of times I physically had to roll my eyes just to feel better about watching this... There's a low bar for Netflix sci-fi action films. If you've seen one, you've basically seen them all. Expectedly, this offers nothing new. The story is pure slop. The acting/casting is abysmal, besides maybe Ritchson. The visuals are anything but consistent, and the mystery is nonexistent. I see the comparisons to action sci-fi classics like "Predator" or "War of the Worlds", but even considering the similarities feels ridiculous. Full offence, the only people I see loving this are either 'red-blooded' Americans or immature children...

Jesus man, every time I watch one of these Netflix-Action releases I think, “maybe this time…” - but this time, I can confirm it wasn’t not…

It’s grossly basic, every cog is working at its absolute lowest level; cheesy-military dialogue, foul visual effects, bad acting - I could go on. There’s a chase sequence toward the end which was simply one of the ugliest, incomprehensible, CGI vomits of a scene I’ve ever witnessed put to screen.

Alan Ritchson has his niche, it’s not a good one, but it’s his. Everything I’ve seen him in has been so one-dimensional and cringe. Esai Morales is here… same for Dennis Quaid - although this all seems pretty on brand for him these days, even if we were teased with a glimmer of hope with The Substance.

Most of all this feels like an insult to the Rangers; 80% of the FINAL STAGE RECRUITS were the biggest, dumbest, blubbering idiots I’ve seen, there’s no way they were even nearly capable to be remotely considered. One of the worst of the year so far, and I’d imagine it will stay that way too.

Was a good watch, better than I thought it was going to be

EPIC 😮‍💨 Alan Ritchson back at it again with some more Reacher vibes except this time against a threat even more wild and unknown. I loved so much about this, but mostly how it starts one way and then just takes a turn for the worst as things just keep getting more and more nuts. He’s on the path to be one of the greats in the action genre, hoping he continues to get great roles like this that allow him to be a man’s man but also show the emotional side. Highly recommend 🤙🏻

Didn’t give much away at all about the movie itself, trust me, the less you know about this the more you’ll like it 👏🏻

not exactly my kinda movie but watched at a friends house. thought this was a typical action movie but nope it’s sci fi. the bar is low for these films so for what it is it’s good. poor 81 just needed therapy. long live 7 rip 15

ultimate dick flick.
just a slop of testosterone and camouflage.
unserious & cliche as hell w the lone survivor storyline.
alan just being alan is the only reason this isn’t a dislike, bc no matter how atrocious every part of this movie was (including 81’s dialogue and development) he is my viagra and i drool over him. 2/10. do not give me a pt. 2

Acceptable.

I appreciate the story as it felt somewhat fresh to the genre but the execution was mid. Story didn’t develop well and most of it was wasted in the first half. Also, rocks, seriously?

The action is great the plot is mid, so a great action movie

The most entertaining movie of this year already WOW. They not scared to show how real this could go 🤌

went in fully blind. it was okay and that's all. It did have some pretty decent cinematography but outside of that there is nothing to remember. predictable and has next to no plot or at least one to hook you. it was a fine late night one time watch

If you enjoy action movies without a lot of depth, then you’ll enjoy this movie. Lots of action intense scenes that keep you drawn in.

I looooved it! I avoided any and all spoilers before watching and I am glad I did. I loved the tension and just the general vibe of it! I personally recommend giving it a watch :)

I'm not quite an action kinda guy but GODDAMN how this one had my attention all the way is CRAZY

Alan Ritchson versus a giant robot? Based on these four words alone, we can easily place this production within the vast cinematic universe. We might as well skip the Hungarian title, because these attackers are not unfamiliar at all. They do exactly what we would expect from them: they destroy!

Just like the film itself brings no surprises—what’s on its mind comes straight out of its mouth, and whatever is in its magazine leaves through the barrel.
