Very creepy but also kinda sad :( I watched this back when it first came out and for some reason I didn’t really care for it much, so I’m glad I rewatched it bc it’s actually so good. Now I need to reread the book too 😤 Also, Victorian Daniel Radcliffe 😳🤭😮‍💨👌🏼🤌🏻

i watched this and read the book in year 7 for English, rewatched it today, why do they chose such morbid things for kids to read in school 😭

Idc what anyone else says this movie is very very creepy. It kept my interest and did not always feel the need to outright jumpscare you. Sometimes stuff was just hidden and I love that.

found this to be horribly uninteresting. relies more on the Edwardian setting and jumpscares for novelty rather than weaving a compelling story. ending was lame. 3/10
