The Toxic Avenger Unrated

I’ve never seen the original, but I bet it wasn’t filled with annoying self-aware “look how bad this movie is” kind of humor 5/10

What did I just witness? I appreciate what they were going for and see the cult following behind Troma, but I don't think it's for me. A fun yet random cast and a meaningful yet odd story. I wasn't into the humour, gore, or music, but like I said, I somewhat appreciate it. I would have given this a harsh 3/10, but production-wise, I love seeing the experimentation with the makeup, design, and set pieces.

this movie is HILARIOUS 💀 i was losing my mind laughing, it’s such a good remake/reimagining of toxic avenger that’s a bit smoother around the edges which i appreciated
i loved all the wacky characters, gross gore and insane logic, it was so so much fun

Irgendwie alles in einem. Hat seine lustigen Momente und ist auch irgendwie unterhaltsam

Really fun movie! Love the silliness and special effects!

It was a fun movie, and far less offensive than the original.
