V/H/S/Halloween

Wow. Not for the faint of heart. Easily the most disturbing shorts in the VHS franchise.

To me this is one of the better ones. No I didn’t like all the stories but not were bad. Acting in a couple of them was funny. But all in all it was decent for some gory Halloween shorts. If you want deep lore or history this isn’t for you. If you want some short stories that were Halloween themed and entertaining go for it.

i lvoe vhs

Only the second VHS movie I’ve seen, overall I enjoyed this one a lot more than the first one. Don’t care for the soda story and some of the other ones were mid but I really like the first one. The kid one is fucked up. Will definitely be watching the other movies eventually.

This one wasn’t as good as the first 3 movies within the franchise. The soda can plot was kind of lackluster, it wasn’t much of a story there. It felt like boring breaks in between the VHS tapes. Half of the tapes were alright but I did like some of them like the hunted house, the phone, and tape store (not trying to spoil). If they continue the franchise, hopefully they go back to their roots a little bit while adding a modern style to it. I feel like they kind of pulled it off with VHS Beyond.
