Dust Bunny

The first 20 min I was really thinking Id end up hating this movie. Thankfully a bit of plot and character development started kicking in and by the end I could say I enjoyed it. Didnt love it, but I enjoyed it.

A film I had the honor of seeing back in October at the Telluride Horror Show and even got to hear the director speak about the film a bit. You can tell it was a passion project for him and he says the inspiration for the film was 80s family films like the Goonies and Gremlins. I will be transparent, didn't really get that for the film but it is defiantly bursting with creative and stylization. This is one I didn't expect to be as funny as it was rather than scary, I would say it's more of a thriller. It has so much personality and heart and the visuals are breathtaking. It had people of the festival talking a lot. I don't know how it'll do in theaters but I would go see it if you want a hilarious good time.

Tried to combine bed time stories with an action movie and it just turned into a boring sloppy mess.
