The Long Goodbye

A great moody film that views the neo-noir genre in a satirical lens. Elliot Gould gives what maybe is his best performance.

if smoking a cigarette in every single scene in a film was a crime, elliot gould is due a life sentence

Thoroughly enjoyed. Great filmmaking. Intro sequence is a perfect encapsulation of the movie - incredible acting by the cat!! did not expect to like it so much! Highly recommend.

(Includes extended scene with homophobia and blackface but otherwise good)

So absurd sometimes and charming right up my alley

its ok with me

i really liked the main character, it had a interesting plot and most of the scenes were pretty enjoyable. (5.6/10)
