Repo Man
This film is out of this world, in the sense that I want this as far from me as possible

Repo Man
“It happens sometimes. People just explode. Natural causes.”
An absolutely bonkers film that has no right to be as good as it fucking is. Repo Man earns without a doubt its cult-classic status, it’s funny, original, of its time and especially, brilliantly clever. From the very first frame you can tell this is going to be special.
1st Act 8.8/10 (A nice banger start that can be lacklustre at times but delivers particular excellence in its dynamic department.
2nd Act 9.4/10 (HIGH TEST MOVIE, KICK ASS AND DO CRIMES, LIKE EAT SUSHI AND NOT PAY.)
3rd Act 9.7/10 (80s Sci-Fi at some of its very best, entertainingly R nothing being overdone for the sake of it, not top of that, it’s a visual marvel with its effects.)
Plot 9.7/10 (Reposes cars and aliens, holy peak.)
Soundtrack/Score 9.4/10 (Oozing with 80s kick-ass music.)
Acting 9.5/10 (Tracy Walter, Stanton and Esteves are absolutely incredible, truly gems from their time.)
Pacing 9.2/10 (Thrilling at times, can be slightly slow, but pretty great all around.)
Cinematography 9.6/10 (Some beautiful shots, some amazing use of special effects and to top it all off some peak goddamn lighting.)
Character Development 8.7/10 (Not the type of movie for it, but it’s pretty standard as is.)
Writing 9.4/10 (Some of the most quotable lines I’ve had the pleasure of hearing.)
Ending 9.8/10 (Holy was that a nice ending, loved the green hue, original and really adds to the originality.)
Direction 9.1/10 (Makes this feel a bit hennenlotter-esque, or as my dad would say, hennenlotter without the sleaze.)
