Fucking disgusting

I’ve never seen a horror movie with such a hatable main character. Interesting plot I guess, but I wouldn’t watch it again. The acting is also pretty shitty.
Tw for ED/RPE jokes, nudity, intense gore

The story was well-paced. And that’s about the only positive thing I’ll say.

It’s deeply racist, misogynistic, and overall pretty dumb. The acting is so so SO bad (except for the lead) and the writing is incredibly plain and uninspired. I cut the actors a little slack because it must be impossible to deliver such terrible dialogue in a compelling way.

The gore was fine, though it didn’t really feel like it served the plot. Just there for shock. The only thing keeping me from rating this a strong dislike is that the pacing kept me somewhat interested the entire time and it felt like it went pretty quickly. Eli Roth, you need to answer for your crimes.

I was hoping this would be similar to cannibal holocaust with it being based on the same thing but it wasn’t anywhere as near as gory or real-feeling as cannibal holocaust, i did enjoy it but not much happened throughout the movie.

Pretty interesting gore but dear lord…those characters are terrible
