The Death of Robin Hood

7.3/10
A reverse slow burn:
The climax happened at the beginning of the movie and we see a rejection of the traditional Robin Hood story in place of a much darker one.
The violence was brutal and the themes were intense.
Not really an action adventure although that’s kinda how it begins.
More of a character drama.
Hugh Jackman absolutely killed it.
The ending completely rejects the Hollywood version of Robin Hood.
I really enjoyed this film but it might be a little slow for some.

Actual trash

took like 3 days to watch this for some reason. the beginning is great and after that I didn’t really feel like anything that happened mattered

A bit slow but well done.

Great movie!!! Hugh Jackman and Bill Skarsgård are amazing ass well as the rest of the cast. Definitely will be watching again

This and The Northman would be a great double bill
