Mother Mary

I could have gone my whole life without watching Mother Mary and been fine. The movie was so incredibly underwhelming. WHY, why, why did they not dive in 110% into the psychological thriller horror genre?? The potential to have me on the edge of my seat was right there!! They just never tapped into it, and it left me sooo disappointed. The visuals are pretty, and the performances are nice; it feels like a theater play, but what else? Am I supposed to be intimidated by a flying red cloth? Am I supposed to be emotionally attached or intrigued by the development of these women? Cause news flash, I wasn't. It was new and felt experimental, but it didn’t do anything for me 3/10

honestly beautiful cinematography and performances. Plus the acting & outfits. 🤏 but imo didn’t rlly like how they executed the message for this film. It felt underwhelming & overwhelming at the same time? 😭

cinematography, sound, and acting were great. but the story was all over the place.

I liked seeing Anne Hathaway in her popstar moment but this movie left me so so confused. It says it’s not a ghost story but acts like one and is a thriller but doesn’t act like one so what exactly is it supposed to be? It’s like a low rent version is smile 2 w/o the suspense

And u don’t understand it right now but trust u will in the future
