The scariest movie I have seen in a long time. Beautifully made and paced perfectly.

Great atmosphere use of background horror during the nighttime scenes, but overall very lacklustre and an utter waste of The Hound (he just inexplicably stops showing up 20min in). And yes, it is going for the Eggers vibe.

I’m was almost disappointed with the mythological silliness but the final revelation really elevates the movie. It also raises important questions about the fate of the other fishermen, now that we know the main character pov to be unreliable.

It is a very drag along movie. The story is pretty predictable and it didn't really keep my attention. It tried and the acting was good. From the trailer I was kinda expecting more
