8.4 - I feel like this is only going to hit for a niche audience, but when that audience finds it, it is going to *hit.* Elite atmosphere & Irish folk horror vibes, very well executed jump scares, a lingering feeling of dread, a surprise amount of humor, & a pretty solid twist. The pace is *really* slow, but when it gets going in the back half, it goes hard. My biggest issue is every single one of the kills happens offscreen, only ever leaving us with the grizzly aftermath. But otherwise this is an easy streaming recommendation when it hits Shudder.

Whoever used the heart rating for this movie, please pass me whatever you were smoking that day because I know it’s something strong

Bit slow and feel like there’s plot holes in the storyline but kept me guessing the whole time. Was pretty creepy

As boringly slow as the pace was, it definitely belongs in the horror category. The atmosphere was stark and cold, and the casting and acting fit so well. My favourite scene was at the beginning, where the tension was at an all-time high. I don't know if I'd let him in, but I for sure wouldn't have gone in the tent. Overall, I'm leaning toward a dislike because more than half of the runtime is underwhelming, and I wouldn't recommend or rewatch it.

Thoroughly enjoyed this. The jump scares are on point and caught me off guard every time. The tension build up is very well executed but the pacing may be a tiny bit slow. There’s a pretty great twist towards the end which feels fresh.

Was eine klasse Stimmung und Atmosphäre. Alle Jumpscares sind perfekt ausgeführt worden, mit spannendem Aufbau. Da ging es eher langsam los, aber die Geschichte plus der Humor zwischendrin machen das komplett fein.
Location und holzmann einfach super.
