The Cranes Are Flying

A woman carrying out flowers, crying, it's the perfect way to describe this film, such beauty experienced without the use of color was indeed my favorite part, being able to see moving pictures without color receives a new meaning when you see this film!

A lot to process, but to keep it simple, it's an amazing film in all aspects, and it will leave you devastated and conflicted as well. The film looks incredible for its time, and the performances are great, especially for the character of Veronika.

A emotional story with great performances, and just really great filmmaking on all levels with innovative techniques of sound and editing, and even in modern times I have no idea how they got some of these shots
