The Cook, the Thief, His Wife & Her Lover

The colors in the background were done extremely well to show off the settings and feelings of the characters, especially the red within the restaurant to show off the owners anger and fualts.

Cannot even believe what I have just witnessed, a complete masterclass on the use of colors to tell a story, a story about freedom, a love story that started at their most intimate point through common interests working it's way back to the beginning, absolutely marvelous!!

loved cinematography and ending but was just an uncomfy watch tbh

Insane use of color, beautiful set design and incredible costumes by jean paul gaultier. There is lots of symbolism and so many layered dynamics going on. Absolutely fantastic… pay attention or you might miss the whole point
