Blue Velvet

i understand its a david lynch film, but these types of films really dont sit well with me. they just threw away the ear plot not even a third of the way into the movie. rape scenes are too much for me in any movie. it was my main problem with A Clockwork Orange as well

A huge disappointment for me. I honestly had higher hopes for it. It did had nice visuals but it was a huge bore. (6-1-25)

Probably didn’t get a lot of it since this is my first Lynch film, but I really did not like this at all and thought most of the performances were terrible :/

I love this movie so much!! It is so wild and gross and beautiful and funny and sad and scary and intense and dreamlike. Anything you could ever ask for in a movie is in this fucking movie.

I was hoping for more blue velvet

Damn this was really good. So strange and dreamlike (first Lynch movie I watch). Trying to understand the movie, I think it’s about the beauty of true love being challenged by lust, and that just messes with a happy life. You gotta listen for true love because it’s pure and right
