So unfair screw them all and justice for my girl Rosemary I wanted her to get her revenge so bad.

Already had low expectations with this movie cause the director is a p3d0 but wow

1) she’s SAed by Satan (shown on camera)
2) Satan plays a huge role in this story yet he appears once
3) EVEN THOUGH THE MOVIE IS CALLED ROSEMARY’S BABY THEY DONT SHOW ROSEMARY’S BABY ONCE!!!

A Very Creepy Watch. I’ve seen this movie years ago and it’s still just as creepy. Good cast with good performances, and a decent script. Definitely not for the meek.

A truly remarkable achievement of film for the 1960s, as not only is Rosemary’s Baby some of the greatest uses of slow cinema ever done, along with some of the greatest moments in horror ever conceived.

1st Act 9.6/10 (Ahhh my favourite Rom-com, Rosemary’s ba-WHAT THE FUCK.)

2nd Act 9.8/10 (The direction is genuinely so top tier, like it makes the atmosphere so lively and so unsettling.)

3rd Act 11/10 (My heart was beating like I took 2,000mg of caffeine.)

Plot 9.4/10 (Amazingly well done, just wised there was more twists and less gaslighting.)

Soundtrack/Score 9.3/10 (phenomenally done with some songs, others are kinda mid but because the whole OST is only 27 minutes I’ll defo relisten eventually.)

Acting 10/10 (Mia Farrow deserves all the fucking Oscars.)

Pacing 10/10 (SLOW CINEMA DONE RIGHT.)

Cinematography 10/10 (Not beautifully shot, but amazingly shot, and executed, loved every single bit.)

Character Development 9.3/10 (Having trouble remembering some names, but tbf the facts I’ve got atleast 5 is really good.)

Writing 9.2/10 (I need that book.)

Ending 9.7/10 (Thought it was gonna do a Suspiria but it didn’t, not a bad thing, but I kinda wished she explored the house a bit more.)

Direction 10/10 (WHY DOES ROMAN HAVE TO BE A NONCE, NOOOOOO.)
