Sullivan's Travels

"There's a lot to be said for making people laugh. Did you know that's all some people have? It isn't much, but it's better than nothing in this cockeyed caravan." ♡ Incredible, 4/5.

8/28/26: Woah, what a compendium of emotion and social issues! I am so thoroughly impressed by this film. Fantastic story that verges into every genre. Incredibly witty and incredibly heartfelt. Veronica Lake is unforgettable!

That was one hell of a ride! I'm always down for a screwball-type comedy, and this one's got heart to it too. I love the final lines given from Sullivan's character. Veronica Lake was beautiful but also a blast of fun with her comedy, along with Joel McCrea's performance too.
