Singin' in the Rain

This is a movie of a bygone era - an era when an audience could be impressed by the sheer happiness of a story and moved by the footwork of a master.

I didn't think I would like old musicals as much as I liked this from the acting to the singing, especially the dancing, I wish there were more in the movies that came out similar to this

This is probably my second favourite musical ever, and that comes from someone who absolutely hates them, especially the romantic ones.

Everything is beautiful, the writing, the acting from the beautiful cast, the colours used in everything, the set designs, clothes-

so good! When the dancing starts your eyes are glued to the screen!!

It’s definitely not timeless and feels like a movie people think they have to like. Weird plot, storytelling and pacing, random singing that feels disconnected from story, strange blackmailing plot. Some funny and cute moments. Just watch La La Land.

i know they all made debbie miserable on this film…:but oh my god Good Morning is the most iconic dance pieces in musical history and cinema history holy moly
