Hate dumb husband horror trope and protagonist making dumb decisions

A breath of fresh air in the horror genre. I really connected with the concept of mixing found footage and crime documentary. The film wasn’t filled with jump scares, instead the story maintained a state of uneasiness and dread that made the final act hit. 9/10

I’m just going to leave my 2 stars here and say I was slightly disappointed but I’ll also say that Hayley Williams dropped a new song like 2 minutes before I walked into the theater so I was also slightly distracted. Go listen to Good Ol’ Days and I will be rewatching this eventually.

The plot was pretty mid but there were some spooky moments. That shot of the window from her perspective at the end was so freaky. And I really think Camille Sullivan is a fantastic actor and she did the best she could with what was given to her in this. Could have been a lot better with an improved script but I enjoyed myself.
