This movie is a marketing victim, the trailer sells the picture as a thriller, even a little as horror, but it really is a drama, psychological drama as much. But other then this the movie is good, the premise is interesting and let you think about the PTSD

Weird, shifty guy finds weird, shifty purpose, with some sad (deserved) consequences.

The description said “dedicated family man” but this was a guy who clearly did not want to be and should not have been a father, which was actually an interesting dimension to the character.

Key takeaway: don’t trust a guy who doesn’t like dogs.

Love that it’s a Nova Scotian filmmaker and was based in the Halifax area, with much of the filming happening in the area. For fun, look up the street view of 3725 WaVerly Rd (not Wakerley). You can also find the “house” on River Road in Terence Bay near the trail head…

I just wanna know what constitutes this as a thriller 🫤 because this was a whole lot of nothing. Not thriller. Not psychological. Not good. There was absolutely not reward for sitting through these 2 hours.
