Leave the World Behind

This film has its moments but is ultimately not worth 2.5 hours of your time. It has poor pacing, a fluctuating tone, and some of the dialogue & story-beats are cringe asf. Not to mention, nothing really happens. It had potential. Do yourself a favor and leave this film behind.

The scenario had potential but I expected something bigger at the end:/ very boring end with no answer to our questions

I kept falling asleep

-This movie was made with a Former president

-follows a family who is staying at a nice vacation house which gets interrupted by a boat that doesn’t stop until it hits the beach with other things causing communication loss etc.

-A what if tale about how America could fall

-want to shout out the person doing the camera work on this film, I hope I never see a film made this way ever again, same with the director, the pacing in this movie is one of the worst I’ve ever seen, and even the ending is so abrupt that it leaves a big sour taste in your mouth especially since the last few minutes are of the “Child who couldn’t care less about her own family just chilling with a bunch of food in the bunker they learned about at the end of the film” The whole film just follows them finding out what happened even though some of the characters already knew.

All I can say is I hope the world leaves this movie behind [3/10]
