A difficult watch in some parts because of Ray’s treatment towards Colin. I understand it is a BDSM relationship but there was basically no consent involved. There was some comedic relief however and the acting was brilliant.

i was so upset at how ray just left him like that after giving him a day off it literally felt like giving a dog chocolate before putting it down tbh it might take me a few days to get over that but i loved that in the end collin found someone who wanted the same things as him

I understand it’s a kink relationship however, Colin still wanted a typical loving relationship in some capacity, which is shown during his day off how happy he was. Ray was so abusive and dismissive and just using him. Colin never really stood up for himself besides when he stole the bike, but ended up sleeping outside. All this just to end up in a possibly similar relationship in the end. The acting is great and it’s a captivating movie. Makes you think what you really are willing to put up with, self respect and tolerance of other people’s behavior towards you. Overall liked the movie

So so good with a few slightly disturbing parts, but some people like that stuff so who am I to judge. A really interesting and engaging story nonetheless. Just be wary if you’re uncomfortable with DV
