A difficult watch in some parts because of Ray’s treatment towards Colin. I understand it is a BDSM relationship but there was basically no consent involved. There was some comedic relief however and the acting was brilliant.

the camping scene of alexander getting his friend’s bf to give him a gobbie in front of his own bf was triggering. Kind of loved the film overall, a story of coming into one’s identity through heartbreak

i was so upset at how ray just left him like that after giving him a day off it literally felt like giving a dog chocolate before putting it down tbh it might take me a few days to get over that but i loved that in the end collin found someone who wanted the same things as him

oh boy. this movie is 50 shades of gray for the 2020’s. abusive relationship using the framework of kink, but either the writers or the audience or both don’t/won’t realize that. emotionally stunted men with zero communication, boundaries, or aftercare. made me sad not horny.
