Half Man
The push and pull, the back and forth, the love and anger. All wrapped up and expressed between 2 people trauma bonded to each other. It was hard to watch at times, it felt too real. You really find yourself in both the characters, and I sympathized with both at different times.

This was a BRUTAL watch. Very tough show to recommend to your friends & I think the rewatchability of this show is close to 0. But in the end it was really good?
Gadd the story teller is next level. HBO continues to push the envelope in ways that are unsettling but captivating

Half Man
I don’t really have the right words to describe what I felt for this show but one thing I do know that it was very well made.
This show shows a lot of toxic and violent masculinity along with one character suffering with internalised homophobia but it’s done in such a unique sort of way between two men who are brothers but also have a deeper relationship trusting one another but also dependent on each other in an unhealthy sort of way.
The emotions portrayed in this show felt so raw and real and I’m just amazed with Richard Gadd’s acting and also his ability to make this show.
I understand the confusion some people might have about the whole show and the relationship between Ruben and Niall but that just means you gotta dive deeper into it and understand what it’s actually about.
I actually enjoyed this show a lot and it made me think a lot aswell about the whole story and the characters with the way it ended and brought it all together.

Half Man
Half Man was an insane, heavy show, and while I did not expect that finale ending at all, I can’t say I’m surprised. Wowww, this whole series was honestly a rough watch, and it got so dark that I don’t think I could even recommend it to anyone. But the acting across the board from Richard Gadd and the cast was just superb. Everything about Niall and Ruben's toxic cycle felt all too real, which is probably why it was so deeply uncomfortable to sit through. It’s an absolute masterpiece of trauma television, but you definitely need a strong stomach to get through it.
