Monkey’s Magic Merry Go Round

I suprisingly enjoyed this nostalgic analog horror. It leaned heavily on Mr. Roger's neighborhood, which took a deep dive into thr pychology of repressed trauma and memory loss. The puppet characters were a near perfect blend of the Muppets and Uncanny Valley. A 10/10, a must see

This is the first time nostalgic horror has just fully worked on me. I think this movie just understands a lot about Mr. Rogers and stuff like peewee and what made them so special. This has so much heart behind it and it’s probably one of the most underrated things I’ve seen

pretty boring, couldnt really finish it because it was so unsuitable for my need for entertainment lol just not my type of movie

2/5

It was ok. I see what they were trying to do but felt very grotesque for no reason and it took forever to get to the point of what happened. And why all of the violence when it didn’t pertain to what actually happened? Just an odd approach but the Mr Rogers approach was cool.
