Unfortunately I missed the first 10 minutes because my friend doesn’t know what being on time is🥀💔 but I LOVED what I got to see! Huge fan of the way they shot this movie. The ending was lowkey hilarious but also terrifying. A bad wig is always at the scene of a crime

- i wish Gladys had more backstory. like why is she sick, how *explicit* is she benefiting from the possession. why is gladys here
- ending felt empty
- matthew being a bully disconnected me from the story, if he was alex’s friend i would’ve cared more
- characters felt shallow

Pure nightmare fuel for the first two hours. Josh Brolin is terrifyingly good. Still debating the supernatural pivot in the third act, but you have to respect Cregger for swinging that hard. A messy, ambitious horror epic.
