If I had one wish, I’d use it to stop seeing Charlie Kirk’s face every time I look at Bear
A great new idea for a horror, loved it. Good tension, jumps, and gore. The plot was also fun and well paced. Both Bear and Nikki did an amazing job as their roles and had so many awesome scenes. Some of the scenes were so uncomfortable and nervous in such an amazing way. The Nikki movements were so great 9.0/10

everyone who’s saying that bear is the victim in this film missed the entire point. niki was the victim, she was raped, sexually assaulted, and taken advantage of without being able to do anything about it cause she was possessed. bear knew this. he knew that the woman he was with wasn’t niki, but he continued to take advantage of her anyway, never taking accountability even until the very end. it was so nice seeing and hearing the audience’s reaction to it the second time around. i also noticed the sound work a lot more, it really contributed to the quality and suspense of the film. definitely the best horror movie of the year so far

I feel gaslit, I refuse to believe I saw the same film as everyone else that’s getting this much praise.
Easily one of the most predicable movies I’ve ever seen, insanely so, each major moment plays out in the most obvious way you’d think - all the way up to the ending which I subconsciously considered as an option near the beginning - and it literally happened..!! Obsession is obsessed with constantly bashing out the most nonsense, gory and/or disturbing things for the sake of “shock factor”, and for that alone, never making any sense for it to happen as so.
That aside, acting is very, very good here - particularly Inde Navarrette who was simply superb. The way she was able to switch up and convey so many visual layers in one frame is nuts and a triumph. Michael Johnston was very solid too - I seriously see much stardom for the both of them following this. Along with the performances, I appreciated this film showcasing a negative side to a “wish” - it’s always shown as a gift in media, so was refreshing to see a switch up.
Whilst not technically the worst film I’ve seen this year, it’s certainly the most boring and I genuinely don’t understand what everyone else is seeing…

Watching this in the cinema was absolutely the right choice. The lighting and lingering sense of ambiguity made every moment feel deeply unsettling. I’ve never experienced such a strong feeling of malaise from a horror film before. Easily my horror of the year
