Man with a Movie Camera
Just a simple man with a camera capturing the beauty of the every day life but also the tragedy of things that’s happening at the same time.

Man with a Movie Camera
"I am an eye. A mechanical eye. I am the machine that reveals the world to you as only the machine can see it" and "My way leads towards the creation of a fresh perception of the world"
Man With A Movie Camera is fascinating to say the least, as it’s nothing like anything and everything you’ve ever seen, it’s the reason we have the film we have today, and that is a fact, without this, films either wouldn’t exist to this standard, or they wouldn’t exist at all, and that’s scary to think about isn’t it?
While I can respect Man With A Movie Camera, even the film admits it’s not a movie, but an art experiment, and I’m glad I was told that at the beginning, cause as much as it’s revolutionary and I can respect it for being 1929, it’s pacing is awful, but it’s not a movie, so I’ll let it slide.
I can’t really rate this like I would the others, cause it’s not like the others, it’s the original, its the reason The Batman, Star Wars and Blade Runner 2049 even exist, so I don’t think it would be fair to rate it like a movie, when it’s the definition of a benchmark.
Overall 8.8/10 (based purely off how revolutionary and profound it is for its time, as its not a movie)
