Lame, overacted, uninteresting, and somehow far too long even at only 90 minutes. This is the Kurosawa equivalent to Hitchcock’s Vertigo (except this is still somehow more interesting—and has a lot more influence)

The influence this film had on other works and cinema in general is insane. Brilliant.
Will probably change it to love later.

As of now it’s a like. I can see the influence it had on other media following it, but half the characters were insufferable. Either way it had me wanting to know more of the story and keep watching
