I quite enjoyed the suspenseful journey of searching for the serial killer. My favorite elements were when the director played with shadows and shifting perspective through the editing of different scenes. Peter Lorre was very eerie as the killer. He just seemed so unhinged.

One of the best films ever made. Great suspense and storytelling with some amazing sound. The ending is also one of the most haunting endings to a film ever.

the first 10 minutes is one of the most chilling sequences I've seen in a film and it doesn't have a single drop of blood or even a scream.
