Important (especially now) and beautiful film that instantly pulls you in and makes you wonder if you would do what she did, if you were in her shoes. It does the book justice.

The film had strong performances, you could really feel anne’s desperation to get help. Some scenes were so tense they felt like they belonged in a thriller, but it was a little barebones; I wouldn’t watch it again
