Aftersun

Subtle yet haunting. It’s a slow and delicate movie and even though the ending seems really quiet, it punches you in the gut with emotions once you put the whole picture together.

This one should’ve taken home academy awards best picture without a doubt. 🏆

really good but i fell asleep and there’s a shot of his butt i didn’t like and i got confused at some parts of the movie tbh

Aftersun is one of those movies that after you watched it you just sit in silence and cry afterwards. :(

Essential daddy issues flick

Slow movie with beautiful cinematography about a daughter’s relationship with her father who seems to have complex feelings which evolve and alter their lives forever. The acting alone was deeply emotional and the story only makes sense at the end.

3.5/5 I really wanted to like this but it felt like nothing happened and it was a “no plot just vibes” kind of movie 😭
