Subtle yet haunting. It’s a slow and delicate movie and even though the ending seems really quiet, it punches you in the gut with emotions once you put the whole picture together.

This one should’ve taken home academy awards best picture without a doubt. 🏆

This movie hurts in one of the best ways. Having a loss of someone important in your life because of depression and suicide can be difficult. Aftersun reminds us that it is always more complicated than we think. Survivor’s guilt is never fun.

I wanted to like this so much, realistically if nobody pitched me the storyline I wouldn’t have understood the ending. Only a few scenes caught my attention, otherwise I was not enternained by this film.

It was good but I just couldn’t get into it as much as others can. Not bad, but probably not re-watchable

One of those films that doesn’t truly hit until the end. Processing this is what really made me emotional. It’s a very subtle look into memories, love, suffering. I feel there aren’t too many father daughter films that I’ve seen and all together a very thoughtful story.
