Aftersun

Subtle yet haunting. It’s a slow and delicate movie and even though the ending seems really quiet, it punches you in the gut with emotions once you put the whole picture together.

This one should’ve taken home academy awards best picture without a doubt. 🏆

really good but i fell asleep and there’s a shot of his butt i didn’t like and i got confused at some parts of the movie tbh

Aftersun is one of those movies that after you watched it you just sit in silence and cry afterwards. :(

i’m not sure i understood this movie at all

So nostalgic

The best type of slow burn movie. One that keeps you fully invested from beginning to end and then keeps you thinking long after it’s over. I love how purposefully simple so much of this movie is, because it makes it feel so much more genuine and real. Beyond thought provoking.
