Väldigt bra, väldigt mysig. Asbra skådisar, Sidney Poitier, Katharine Houghton, Katharine Hepburn och alla andra. Bra manus, rolig ofta och seriös när den ska vara det. Har åldrats förvånansvärt bra.

Very much an “of its time” film, but that’s a good thing in this instance. It highlights how far we’ve come while also reminding us of some issues that we see time and time again. For a lot of people, it’s easy to be open-minded in theory, but the true test of character is how you act when it becomes personal.

Bruh this was buns and such a bad storyline. Totally get the interracial relationship was not heard of at this time and respect the movie taking a positive stance on it, but it’s so unrealistic with how fast they started dating and acting was not good 💀💀💀

👍👍 Great story! The performances are peak (My first Poitier and K. Hepburn movie).

I always laugh in hindsight about the ice cream scene being in this movie.

Great story and the ending with Spencer Tracy- so good. His last movie with the love of his life!!

I liked the story, but it seemed kinda slow during certain scenes and I was ready for it to be over. I think it’s a lot longer than it needs to be.

Important dialogue on love and racism. Poitier, Hepburn and Houghton play well. Tracy ends with a fantastic monologue and transformation.

9/10 grande Poitier
