Very much an “of its time” film, but that’s a good thing in this instance. It highlights how far we’ve come while also reminding us of some issues that we see time and time again. For a lot of people, it’s easy to be open-minded in theory, but the true test of character is how you act when it becomes personal.

Bruh this was buns and such a bad storyline. Totally get the interracial relationship was not heard of at this time and respect the movie taking a positive stance on it, but it’s so unrealistic with how fast they started dating and acting was not good 💀💀💀
