Friendship

Haven’t laughed that hard in a theatre for a long time. This movie felt like a genre of its own. One of the weirdest, strangest, and hilarious movies I’ve ever seen. It could only be pulled off by Tim Robinson. Everyone involved with this movie licked a toad before filming.

Weirdly funny and entertaining, but the plot runs thin. I had no idea what to expect apart from an unnatural friendship, and that's exactly what you get, albeit underwhelmingly. There are a few outrageous escalations and a few genius jokes, but they play out far too strangely and slowly. I lost interest a couple of times, so all in all, if you're looking for a heartwarmingly calm yet confusingly relatable flick with a decent soundtrack, this would be it. Otherwise, don't expect too much.

awkwardly funny with some hilarious dialogue. the main character is so unlikeable and i understand it was purposefully done. this movie felt like a series of events rather than a proper plot. i was kinda disappointed but also not, just wish it had some wholesome ah moments. (5.2/10)

at times too uncomfortable to watch and i hid my face

8/10 - Didn’t expect how good this movie would be going in, Tim makes it so painfully awkward and the scene with the boxing had me dying laughing.

Beautiful camera shots, great actors. Better branded as an offbeat psychological horror.
