Nirvanna the Band the Show the Movie

Incredible. Had the time of my life watching this; every joke landed, genuinely moved, inspired by the story/production and so many moments left me questioning how they did that, don’t know the last time I ever thought that. Unbelievable film.

It’s like watching ‘Back to the Future’ for the first time again but it’s also just two best friends making a movie together because why not. I felt like I had known these guys all my life, this was just so heartwarming and incredibly fucking funny and wholesome and their attention to detail was crazy and the way they replicated not only the story plot points of ‘Back to the Future’ but the soundtrack too. This was great and made me tear up.

Just saw this at a Monday mystery surprise movie and it was nothing like I expected it to be. It was so much better than anticipated and being from Toronto and a back to the future fan, I felt like this movie was made for me and anyone like me. I highly recommend going into this movie blindly and just enjoy the ride!! I love this type of independent filmmaking and how a bizarre idea of 2 best friends can make such a great fun film!

I didn’t realize there was a webseries that this was based on, going in. It was insane and fun. And kind of remarkable what they accomplished. I’m glad I watched it.

This was so much fun. It’s like if two best friends got together to remake back to the future but made it hilarious. It’s silly and dumb and made me laugh way too many times.
