absolutely beautiful while simultaneously heart wrenching. we watch her growth as an individual and the brutal destruction of war. it’s told in an incredibly personal way and you cannot help but feel a constant state of awe and panic. this is definitely worth the watch!

A fantastic documentary that gives you a first person perspective into the Siege of Aleppo, as well as the most important moments of Waad’s life. She doesn’t hold back on showing the audience the most disturbing and heartbreaking parts of war. 8.5/10
