The Green Knight

This movie feels like watching a bunch of "The Witcher 3" side quests as you progress through the main story. Some of these "side-quests" are much better and more interesting than others. 7.5/10

A chilling, masterfully done adaptation of an old Arthurian legend.
Everything about this film is perfection; The visuals, soundtrack, casting, and especially that ending all come together to make one of the most engaging movies of the 2020s. It pulls you in right from the start and despite taking its time telling its story, it never once felt slow. I’ve watched this film twice now, and the experience only gets better on subsequent viewings.

I expected a badass knight movie. Not at all what I got. It was slow and painful to watch. I almost gave up on it but there was something I can’t describe that kept pulling me back in. Of course the ending was unbelievable and made it all worth it. Weird ass movie though.

From my understanding of the OG Arthurian legend, this movie missed the mark. OG story is about chivalry, valor and honor but this focused on human weakness. It missed the OG principles. It added wack things that I skipped and it was not as powerful. OG story Like, movie Meh.

while heavily symbolic and reliant on its themes of honor and courage, the green knight is exceptional in its own bravery and boldness. an absolutely beautiful medieval film that tells a sprawling and complex story with true purpose and drive. divisive, but excellent
