Fanny and Alexander

I should've been more prepared going into a Bergman film because it's a lot to absorb. Cinematography is probably his best, and acting is top-notch, of course. Over 3 hours, in a heavy drama, is a lot to ask, but Bergman's work always keeps you invested and thought-provoking.

I enjoy the film except two factors! The inappropriate scenes but I ain’t complaining but you know, second the time! THE MOVIE IS 3 HOURS. Thats about it

broke my heart. glad it had a happy ish ending but OUCH. poor babies. poor women. even when they aren’t letting men control them they still feel responsible for all men’s emotions :(
