Curse of Chucky
This was great! I had a wonderful time with this one. Yeah, there's definitely some plot holes but whatever, I'm not expecting amazing writing for this series.

Curse of Chucky
This was WAY scarier when I was younger- I'm pretty sure I remember this coming out too. Anyway, I rewatched it and it's still good!
Love the queer rep thats consistent through some of the movies. Not something you expect either so it's a nice surprise😂 Chucky is an ally fr /hj

Curse of Chucky
A Slasher Reboot that kills the Comedy in order to trap us back in a house with a snarky doll that could be drop-kicked if one had working legs.

Curse of Chucky
Finally—a return to the franchise’s horror roots, and it did not disappoint. Everything about Curse of Chucky felt like a refreshing revival. From the eerie, isolated setting to the characters and their complicated relationships, the film brought back the tension and atmosphere that made the original Child’s Play so effective. The introduction of Nica was fantastic. I love her character—she’s strong, sympathetic, and genuinely well-written. Fiona Dourif gave an incredible performance, and every actor played their part perfectly. For once, I had no real complaints about the cast or character choices. Dare I say it’s the scariest installment in the series? Honestly, Chucky lowkey freaked me out here. His new design threw me off at first, but once you get used to it, he’s genuinely unnerving. The way he waits, watches, and plans his kills with such patience adds a whole new layer of fear that’s been missing from the more comedic entries. That said, I did find myself wondering—why do they live in that creepy, falling-apart house? It looks half-decrepit and honestly kind of dangerous. Still, it makes for the perfect horror setting: claustrophobic, shadowy, and unsettling in all the right ways.
Overall, I enjoyed Curse of Chucky the most out of all the films so far. It’s exactly the kind of horror-focused sequel I was hoping for when I started watching the franchise—tense, chilling, and surprisingly grounded.
