This was pretty good actually. It was funny as well; I liked the end with the old man. This movie was definitely giving off some strong 2002 vibes lmao. I did like it. I would probably watch it again but not for a while. I liked how it set it up for a sequel.

this movie is nasty and pretty messy… you can definitely tell that this is made by the same guy that did hostel, he really knows how to make painfully unlikeable characters that you don’t mind seeing the horror elements happen to, i like hostel a lot more but this was okay

I’ve watched this movie a long time ago and it was traumatizing and now that I’ve watched it again I realize how bad it is. The script and acting are hilariously bad. It’s a disgusting slop fest and pretty stupid, very campy tho and funny ending

it was almost laughable how terrible this movie was. so many things made no sense and of course horror characters always make bad decisions but this was just so unbelievably bad.

2.2 - caught the 4K director’s cut re-release in theater because I’d never seen this. Lowkey wish I had seen it before so I would have known this wasn’t at all worth my time.

Just laughably bad with all the campy early 2000s gore & the uncomfortable, corny, & unnecessarily slur-laced dialogue you expect. I personally just wanted it to be over from very early on.

A couple points for a realistic enough, if a bit generic, premise & a genuinely unnerving ending in a recently post-pandemic world.

I was mixed the first time I watched this, but on rewatch, I liked it a little better. Still good for the kills and gore, but the rest drags, and these characters are ass.

What did I just watch…the only reason I’m giving it a meh instead of dislike is because I laughed a lot but I would definitely not recommend this movie to anyone looking for real and good horror movie but if you’re with friends and want to laugh at how awful the acting and storyline is I recommend watching this one

Can’t believe I hadn’t watched this before. I’d only seen the remake/2016 one but this was awesome. Loved all the blood. And the ending was just perfect, so satisfying

Campy as all hell, but that's more a product of the time than anything. A little gory and disturbing, but not nearly as much as some of Roth's later films. Definitely one of those movies you watch with a group of friends and don't take too seriously.

2/5. I only enjoyed the humour in this, the rest was just kinda .. gross 😭 makes me paranoid about flesh eating dieseases though!

Gore… hell yeah.
