A Man for All Seasons

Really good acting by the 2 main characters. Everyone else was mid. Great story line and dialogue. Kind of too long. not my style but it is really well done.

Best Picture Oscar winner 1967 (39th Academy Awards)
My Rating: 5.5/10

Nominated for 8 Oscar’s and won 6. The Tudor storyline is always fascinating to me and I was hoping this was better than it was. Loved Robert Shaw as Henry the 8th but it was kind of a bore. Wouldn’t watch it again

I love Tudor history so was very excited about this. It’s a meh cause it grabbed me at certain points but lost me at others. Tho interesting take on King Henry VIII first divorce from someone else rather than the main players
