I ABSOLUTELY ADORE THIS FILM/MUSICAL WTV WITH MY ENTIRE HEART. LITERALLY MY FAVOURITE FILM IN THE WORLD. it's got such good music i could watch it every minute of every day for an entire lifetime💌💌💌💌

awful AWFUL memories of watching this in choir… fuck you mrs davis for always being the most hateful ass bitch and making me sut outside your class bcuz i was too “talkative” ITS CHOIR WERE SUPPOSED TO USE OUR VOICES…

Watching this movie makes me feel like i’m a kid again.

A classic movie. I love how it blends story along with a musical to make it less boring than a would be just musical. It’s based loosely on the events of the von trapp family and their escape from Austria. Altogether I think this movie is a great one and would recommend to others

inspired by true events, the sound of music tells a beautiful story that blends romance, history, and music. though long, it’s full of lovable characters, classic songs, and a sweet transformation as the children and their father grow to love their governess.
