This movie made me want a brother. It’s heartfelt, it’s funny, and it will tear a hole through your chest. This movie has flaws, sure, but it more than makes up for it. There are so many moments that are flying through my head while typing this that just make my heart sink.

I actually can’t believe people liked this. Was I watching something else?? Tom cruise is a massive jerk and soooo annoying. Dustin was great tho.

A special experience of well done drama, well deserving of the 4 Oscar wins! Rain Man incorporates moving drama, timeless scenery and unbelievable performance

It's meticulously written, impressively, directed, engaging, moving, touching, and above all that.

Seen so much about this movie and had to give it a watch

Great movie, highlights so key parts of an autistic persons life (schedule, hobbies, etc)

Sad in places but overall really good!

Hoffman’s dedication to the role of Raymond is amazing to see. Theres so many of the Ray’s qualities I recognize in the children I work. I feel like, in a way, this representation gave me a new perspective and understanding of my students. Beautiful story in the end.

I really liked the story of this movie and how it handled the theme of autism.
I also loved how the story progresses with Charlie’s character the way he only wants Raymond for money at first but then realizes it’s not about the money and in fact about the fact that he has a brother.
It’s a really heartfelt movie that feels pretty long but in a good way and even gets you to shed a tear (at least I did).
I only have good things to say about this movie and would probably rewatch it in the future.
