Slow burn, stressful, uses religious horror to traverse the messy path of grief, past rage and vengeance to forgiveness and appealing (literally) to one’s better angels.

Went in blind and glad I did! It was decently spooky and had some good scary moments. Acting was solid and the premise feels so original. Loved the art direction and shot choices as well. Biggest frustration is that the ending gets pretty messy and honestly quite cheesy, but I really enjoyed everything leading up to that.
