Brief Thoughts: HOLY SHIT this was so much better than I expected. The sfx were gorgeously macabre and I just overall enjoyed watching it.

This does a great job at taking a potentially huge scale and delivering on it with a smaller budget without feeling stretched. The tension is solid but you’re here for the creature effects, with the design as one of my favorites I’ve seen in a while

Was enticed to watch this by a still of the practical effects, but was left underwhelmed by the lack of interesting characters and janky twist reveals.

Pacing is a bit out of wack but it’s alright. Would recommend if someone specifically asked for a weird horror movie
